 2014 Officers΄ Graduation  20/06/2014 - Posted by: Fire Academy Οn Thursday, June 19, 2014, ιn the presence of the President of the Republic Mr. Karolos Papoulias , the graduation ceremony of 109 new officers was held in the premises of the Hellenic Fire Academy , in Kato Kifissia. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Public Order & Citizen Protection Mr. Vassilios Kikilias, the General Secretary for Civil Protection Mr. Patroklos Georgiadis, Chief Lieutenant Vassilios Papageorgiou for the fire sevice , Chief Vice Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis for the Navy , the Chief of the Hellenic Police Lieutenant Dimitrios Tsaknakis , delegations of Schools of the Armed Forces and Security Forces , professors of the Academy as well relatives and friends of young officers.The ceremony was officiated , by Kifissia,Maroussi & Oropou Cyril Metropolitan. When reading the Orders of the Day, the Chief of the Fire Academy Chief Brigadier John Fostieris addressing the young officers , emphasized, inter alia : "A little while ago with the blessing of the church, the honorary presence of His Excellency the President of the Greek Republic, political and natural leadership of the Fire Brigade, representatives of civil and military authorities and your loved ones, gave the oath, which is symbol of dedication to the our country and confirms the completion of your studies in the Fire Academy .
